The PFT1200 is designed to powering devices using High PoE technology. This technology allows to run the system with only one UTP/FTP cable which transmits data and provides supplying voltage. Powering devices according to the PoE: 802.3af, 802.3at standard is possible with using the PFT1300 extender.
The device has implemented "midspan" function, which allows to install it between switches not equipped with PoE ports and network devices (for example IP cameras or Access Points), which have to be powered via UTP.
